FieldIQ ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Information We Collect

When you use FieldIQ, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and encrypted password, used only for authentication
• Customer data you upload — business names, addresses, contact info, and sales history that you import from your own files
• Activity data you create — visit logs, notes, orders, quotes, callbacks, and other records you enter in the app
• Profile information — your name, company, and territory details you provide during setup

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or any data in the background. FieldIQ only accesses information you actively provide.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud database platform. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide the FieldIQ service:

• To authenticate your account and keep your data secure
• To sync your data across your devices
• To display your customers, visits, and analytics within the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app.

What We Never Do

• We never sell your data to third parties
• We never share your customer data with other FieldIQ users
• We never use your data to train AI models
• We never access your data except to provide technical support when you request it

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Export — Download all your data at any time from Settings → Export
• Delete — Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete My Account
• Correct — Update your information at any time within the app

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

FieldIQ uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in (privacy policy)
• GitHub Pages — app hosting (privacy policy)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of FieldIQ after changes constitutes acceptance.
